A birth doula is a trained professional who provides continuous emotional, physical, and informational support during pregnancy, labor, birth, and the immediate postpartum period. My role is to help you feel informed, supported, and confident as you navigate your unique birth experience.
Research shows that continuous labor support is associated with shorter labors, lower cesarean rates, increased birth satisfaction, and improved breastfeeding outcomes.

I believe birth is one of life's most powerful and transformative experiences. My passion is helping families feel supported, informed, and empowered as they navigate pregnancy, birth, and the transition into parenthood. While birth can be beautiful, it can also feel overwhelming and unpredictable. That's why I believe having a strong support team can make all the difference. My goal is to help you feel confident in your choices and supported throughout the process, so that no matter how your birth unfolds, you can look back on the experience feeling heard, respected, and cared for.

I am currently working toward certification and building my birth experience. Every doula starts somewhere, and I am honored to be beginning this journey. While I have not yet attended a birth as a doula, I have completed professional training, continue to expand my knowledge through education and mentorship, and am committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-based support to every family I serve.

Yes. In addition to support immediately after birth, I provide one postpartum visit where we can discuss your birth experience, newborn adjustment, feeding questions, recovery, and any additional resources you may need.
For longer term postpartum support, I can help connect you with dedicated postpartum doulas.

While I make every effort to be available for every client I serve, birth can be unpredictable. In the rare event that I am attending another birth or experience an emergency, a trusted backup doula will be available to support you. I will introduce you to my backup doula before your due date so you can feel comfortable and supported no matter what.
